The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the admit cards for Class 10 students appearing for the Phase 2 exams soon. The exams will be conducted in a single shift between May 15 and 21, 2026. CBSE introduced two phases of exams this year, stating that the higher of the two scores will be reflected in the final mark sheet-cum-certificate. A total of 6,68,854 regular candidates have registered across both categories. Of these, 85,285 students have enrolled for compartment exams, 5,25,655 for improvement, and 57,914 candidates will be appearing for both.
4,74,491 students will be re-appearing for the Science exam, 3,68,843 for Mathematics (Standard), and 1,78,878 for Mathematics (Basic).

Where to check CBSE admit card?
Regular students can collect their CBSE Class 10 admit cards from their respective schools, as only schools are authorised to download them. School authorities must log in using their affiliation number as the user ID and password to access and download the admit cards using the steps mentioned below.
Private candidates can download their CBSE Class 10 admit cards directly from the official website, cbse.gov.in, by logging in using application number, or their previous roll number.
CBSE Class 10 Admit Card 2026: How to check
- Visit the official website at cbse.gov.in
- Click on the “PARIKSHA SANGAM” tab.
- Now, click the “Continue” button when redirected and choose the “Schools (Ganga)” tab.
- Under the “Pre-Exam Activities” tab, click on “Admit card for CBSE phase 2 exams 2026”
- Now, enter the required credentials, such as the user ID and password.
- Once logged in, download the admit cards for the students.
CBSE Phase 2 Date Sheet
The phase 1 exams, covering 83 subjects, were conducted between February 17 and March 11.
