NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification on February 11, 2021, regarding the practical exam dates for the current academic year. The CBSE has directed schools to conduct practical exams between March 1 to June 11, 2021. It is mandatory for schools to conduct practical exams only by the external examiner appointed by the board. CBSE Classes 10 and 12 practical exams 2021 guidelines

  • The practical exams and project assessments will be done in the respective schools only. An external examiner and an internal examiner will be present during the exam.

  • An app link will be given to all school, wherein they have to upload a group photograph of students maintaining social distancing during practicals.

  • Schools have to upload the practical marks on the given link after the completion of exams.

  • No practical exams will be conducted after the last date of the exam - June 11, 2021.

CBSE Classes 10 and 12 practical exams 2021 - COVID -19 Protocols

  • Schools lab will be sanitized after the practicals. All the labs must have a hand sanitiser for students.

  • A batch of 25 students will be subdivided into small groups to maintain social distancing.

  • Exhaust fans should be switched on during practicals to ensure proper ventilation.

  • During viva, students and examiners have faced in the same direction.

  • If a student is not feeling well, the practical exam may get conducted separately.

Earlier, the board has announced the CBSE Classes 10 and 12 exam dates 2021 for theory exams on February 2, 2021. The theory exams will be conducted from May 4 to June 11.
