CBSE class 10 exams begin tomorrow; here’s how you can score high

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 20: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin the class 10 board exams from tomorrow i.e February 21. The exams will begin with vocational subjects, the first one being e-publishing and e-office. The examinations for core subjects will begin from March 5 with Languages paper. The CBSE 10th exam schedule for other core subjects is given below. 10th board examinations will conclude on March 29 with Social science subject. Here are a few last minute pointers to note to sail through the exams smoothly.
Last minute hacks for CBSE class 10th exams to score high

Brush up with the syllabus. Also, go through the notes made thoroughly. These important notes/pointers can be used to answer different questions.

Out of the total 100, board exams will constitute 80 marks. Remaining 20 marks are for regular class performance. Try to score as much as possible if in any case you weren’t able to perform during class assessment.

Get all your doubts clear. Even a slight doubt can land you in a dicey state during exam.

Solve previous year question papers for better practice. Answer it within the stipulated time. This way you will understand which questions to answer first and the time needed to devote to each question.

Everyday, take out half-an-hour to meditate or engage in some physical activity as per your liking. This will help boost your memory and help you retain things for longer.

Decrease your time on social media. It drains off your energy.

Revise every topic of each subject which has been done already. Do not begin learning any new topic now.
Exam day guidelines

Reach the exam hall half-an-hour prior to the beginning of the exa.

Question papers will be distributed at 10:15 am. 15 are provided to read the paper. Go through it and devise answering strategies.

Answer books will be distributed between 10:00-10:15 am.

Begin by answering the questions to which the answer is known.

Do not spend much time on questions which confuse you. Solve the other questions first and come back to it later.

Spare 15 minutes at the end for revision.
