Students must have their admit card details, date of birth, and roll number to access the CBSE 10th second board results 2026. CBSE has not yet announced the date and time for the second board exam result declaration.
According to CBSE, 6,68,854 regular candidates registered overall across the compartment and improvement categories combined. Of whom, 85,285 students signed up specifically for compartment exams, and 5,25,655 registered for improvement exams.
In addition, 57,914 candidates registered for both the compartment and improvement exams together, as part of the CBSE two-phase exam , which was held from May 15 to 21.

CBSE 10th Second Board Result 2026: How to check?
Students can check the CBSE Class 10 result by following the steps below.
- Visit the official website
- Click on the option/link for “ CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026 ”
- Provide the required login credentials
- Submit the entered details to generate the result on the screen
- Take a printout of the provisional marksheet and keep it safe for future use.
Students will find their name, roll number, class, father’s name, date of birth, qualifying status (pass or fail), subject-wise marks in both theory and practical examinations, total marks obtained, full marks for each subject, and the overall grade in the CBSE 10th marksheet.
CBSE two-board exam policy
Starting this year, CBSE rolled out a two-board-exam system to give students more chances to improve their academic performance. Under the two-board exam policy, those not satisfied with their initial results or looking to improve their marks were given a second opportunity to appear for the exam.
As per CBSE, science emerged as the most popular subject for the CBSE Class 10 second board exam, followed by mathematics and social science.
