NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has concluded the Class 10 English exam for term 1 today. The CBSE 10th English exam ended at 1 PM. The CBSE Class 10 English exam duration was 90 minutes. The answer key and analysis will be released by experts soon.

The CBSE term 1 exam was MCQ based. The CBSE 10th English question paper contained three sections namely A, B, and C. There were a total of 60 questions in the CBSE Class 10 term 1 English paper. All questions carry equal marks, and there was no negative marking in the examination.
Section-wise question break-up
A total of 18 questions were there in section A. Students had to attempt a total of 14 questions. Specific instructions were given for each question. Section B or Writing and Grammar section comprised 12 questions. Out of which, students had to attempt a total of 10 questions,
Section C (Literature) had 30 questions. Students were required to attempt 26 questions, as per specific instructions for each question.
With the CBSE Class 10 English exam, the CBSE 10th term 1 exam has been concluded. The CBSE 10th result for term 1 will be released soon by the board. The CBSE Class 10 term 2 exam is expected to be held in March/ April 2022.
