Ragini Aggarwal, PGT Biology, Mt Abu Public School said that paper was moderate to easy and followed the pattern of NCERT. "Overall the paper was balanced, but in Section B- Question number 44, the options given were wrong. There was a question on case study which appeared to be tricky to students." The students who studied well and practiced sample papers thoroughly can expect marks above 33, while the average score can be around 30, the teacher said.

The CBSE biology Class 12 contains three sections

• Section A has 24 questions. Attempt any 20 questions. 

• Section B has 24 questions. Attempt any 20 questions. 

• Section C has 12 questions. Attempt any 10 questions.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday, December 16 said the OMR answer sheets will not be evaluated at the exam centres. The board will not provide answer keys for evaluation to exam centres. After the change in the policy, the official CBSE answer key 2021 may not be available at the end of the exam.

CBSE is conducting Class 12 biology exam 2021 today at 11:30 am. Students reached the examination center and papers were distributed at 11:10 am. The exam will conclude at 1 pm. Soon after the conclusion of exam, students can check for CBSE biology answer key 2021 here.

As per the new rules of CBSE, The practice of evaluation on the same day in the examination centre is being stopped from December 16. All the Centre Superintendents will pack and seal the OMR sheets within 15 minutes after the examination is over in the presence of the Observer. The Centre Superintendent and Observer will sign on the sealed parcel and will mention the time of packing also," Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said in a letter to affiliated schools.
