NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE Class 12 board exam date 2025. The board will conduct the CBSE board exam 2025 for Class 12 from February 15 to April 4. The CBSE date sheet 2025 for Class 12 board exam has been hosted on the official website, cbse.gov.in. Students will have to carry the school ID and admit card to be allowed inside the exam hall.
The board recently clarified that there will be no open book exams and CBSE syllabus has not been reduced for Classes 10 and 12. CBSE informed that the subject-wise marks distribution is the only updates notified for the upcoming board exam 2025. As per the update, each subject will have a maximum of 100 marks which is distributed majorly for theory paper and the remaining for practical, internal assessment, and projects.

The CBSE date sheet 2025 has been prepared by avoiding more than 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two subjects' examinations offered by a student fall on the same date, the board said. Moreover, the CBSE Class 10, 12 time table 2025 has been issued nearly 86 days before the start of the examinations.

The CBSE Class 12 board exam 2025 will commence from February 15. Exams for major subjects will be conducted between 10.15 am to 1.30 pm. Students will be given 15 minutes reading time from 10.15 am to 10.30 am.
