CBSE Class 12 Maths Exam 2022 Live: Term 2 paper analysis, answer key available, result date

"The Standard Maths question paper of class 12 was moderate paper, Section-A was easy but in section B  2-3 questions were tricky, case study based question was also easy. In another set of paper 2 questions were also tricky and students difficulty faced difficulty to understand. Many questions were from the NCERT textbook. Students who have gone through NCERT were able to solve it properly without any problem," said Bhanwar Singh Tanwar, PGT Mathematics, Genesis Global School, Noida.

The question paper will be divided into 3 sections, A, B, and C.

• Section A will be of 05 marks and will comprise of 06 questions on Employability Skills.
• Section B will be of 17 marks and will have 16 questions on Subject-specific Skills.
• Section C will be of 08 marks and comprise 03 competency-based questions.

A few students who appeared in the CBSE Board Class 12 Maths exam term 2 have found the paper a bit lengthy and moderately difficult. While other students have reported that the paper was balanced.

Pooja Nayyar, HOD, Mathematics, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad said, "The class 12 term II Mathematics board exam was a balanced paper. All the questions were from the syllabus. The questions on Integration and Three-Dimensional Geometry were a bit tricky, but not very difficult to crack for the students who were well prepared."

She further said, "Overall, the math exam paper had its share of questions that were easy to moderate in difficulty level. Students were able to complete the paper on time."

The next CBSE Board 12th exam will be held on June 9, 2022, for Tourism, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration, Salesmanship.

Class 12 Mathematics paper was very student-friendly and followed the pattern given in the CBSE sample paper. The overall CBSE paper seemed to be of moderate difficulty level and very well balanced. Section A of 2 Mark's was relatively easy. The integration sums were a bit conceptual, and students with a thorough understanding of concepts and knowledge of the formulas will be able to score good marks. Overall, it was a very standard paper with few questions of moderate difficulty level, said Nilutpal Bora, PGT- Mathematics, Modern English School, Guwahati.

He further said, "The applied maths paper was quite average. Most of the financial Mathematics questions and time series questions were direct. However, some students may face problems in the calculus part. But overall, the students who have practiced sincerely and with good conceptualized knowledge will score good marks. The paper was a bit lengthy, especially the four-mark questions."

CBSE Maths exam has concluded at 12:30 pm. The CBSE term 2 exam was held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The paper was held for 40 marks.

The board will conduct CBSE Maths question paper today from 10:30 am. Students who are appearing for the term 2 board exams will carry their CBSE admit cards to the exam centre as no student will allowed to enter the exam centre without it.
