CBSE Class 12th results 2024 declared for 16 lakh students; overall pass percentage at 87.98%

Enrol NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE Class 12 results 2024 today for over 16 lakh students. The CBSE 12th result link 2024 has been hosted on the official website, cbseresults.nic.in. The overall pass percentage of CBSE Class 12th results is at 87.98%; an increase of 0.65% compared to the previous year. CBSE Result 2024 (OUT) Live
Students can also check their CBSE 12th results 2024 from Digilocker application. Earlier, students were notified about the six-digit access code for Digilocker account. Key in the access code and credentials shared by the board to check the CBSE results 12th 2024.
This year, 16,33,730 students registered for the Class 12 board exams, of which 16,21,224 students appeared and 14,26,420 students passed the exam by recording an overall pass percentage of 87.98%. Last year, 16,60,511 appeared and 14,50,174 students cleared the exam. The performance of Class 12 students improved by 0.65% this year.
As per the region-wise results, Trivandrum has been featured as the top performing region with pass percent of 99.91% and lowest performing region was Prayagraj.
A total of 1,22,170 students have been placed in the compartment. As per the revised policy, the board has decided to allow Class 12 students to appear in supplementary exams for one subject. The decision was taken in line with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020).
CBSE Class 12 Results 2024: Highlights
A total of 18,417 schools took part in this year’s CBSE Class 12 board exams. The CBSE board informed that a total of 39,81,266 students appeared in both Class 10 and 12 exams.
