The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the application correction window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2026) today, December 23. Applicants who submitted the CTET 2026 application form before the deadline can edit the form on the official website, ctet.nic.in, before December 26.

As per the schedule, the CTET 2026 exam will be held on February 8 in two shifts, each of 2.30 hours. The first shift is scheduled from 9.30 am to 12 noon, while the second will be conducted from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
Once the CTET correction window is closed, candidates will not be allowed to edit the CTET application form 2026. As per last year's trend, the CBSE board is expected to issue the CTET admit card 2026 in the first week of February, likely on February 6.

The CTET February 2026 saw a record 25.3 lakh registrations, a sharp rise from 20.25 lakh in July 2024 and 16.72 lakh in December 2024.

The board said that the exam city choices submitted by candidates cannot be edited as they will be allotted randomly.
