Enrol NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education will soon issue the CBSE board exam schedule 2025. The board will issue the CBSE date sheet 2025 for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams on its official websites at cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.
The CBSE date sheet 2025 will be available in PDF format for download from the 'Examinations' section of the official website. As per reports and previous trends, the CBSE board exams 2025 are expected to begin on February 15, following the pattern of previous years.
The CBSE board exams 2025 for Classes 10 and 12 will be held in a pen-and-paper format. The board has decided to implement a CCTV policy requiring schools designated as examination centres to install CCTV cameras . The central board has issued guidelines for the use of these cameras to ensure proper monitoring during exams.
As per the official notice, the board has made available the CBSE sample papers and marking scheme for the academic year 2024-25. The sample papers are available for both Class 10 and Class 12 subjects. Students who are going to appear for the CBSE board exams 2025 can now access the sample papers and marking scheme through the official website, cbseacademic.nic.in.
CBSE Timetable 2024: Practical exam date
The CBSE has issued the schedule for practical exams and internal assessments for Classes 10 and 12 in winter-bound schools. As per the official notice, the practical exams for the 2024-25 academic year will be conducted from November 5 to December 5, 2024.
This schedule has been put in place as the schools in winter-bound regions will remain closed during January 2025. For all other schools, the practical exams and internal assessments will begin from January 1, 2025.
CBSE Date Sheet 2025: Previous year’s trend
For the past two years, CBSE has been announcing the date sheet for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in the month of December. Only in 2021 and 2022, the exams were conducted in April-June due to COVID-19.
In 2024, the Class 10 board exams were conducted from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while the Class 12 board exams also began on February 15, 2024, but extended till April 2, 2024. The board followed a similar schedule as in earlier years.
