CBSE extends registration deadline for single girl child scholarship scheme to November 30
Eligible students can apply for single girl child scholarship scheme 2022 and 2021 renewal scheme at cbse.gov.in

NEW DELHI : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date to register for single girl child scholarship 2022 scheme and renewal of last year’s scheme till November 30. Eligible students can apply for single girl child scholarship 2022 scheme and single girl child scholarship 2021 renewal on the official website – cbse.gov.in. Schools will be able to verify the applications till December 7, 2022.
The CBSE provides these scholarships for single girl children studying in CBSE and affiliated schools and passed Class 10 with 60% marks in first five subjects. The scheme was started by the board in 2006.

“The other details and eligibility conditions alongwith the online application form will remain the same and are available on Board’s website i.e. www.cbse.gov.in at Scholarship Link,” read CBSE’s latest notification.
How to apply for single girl child scholarship scheme
- Visit the CBSE official website, cbse.gov.in.
- Scroll down and click on scholarships.
- Find the “Guidelines and Application Forms 2022/Apply Online”.
- Click on the ‘Single Girl Child Scholarship - 2022’ for fresh application.
- Or, click on “CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child of Class X for Renewal.
- Students will have to enter their roll number and date of birth to fill the application.
- Check all the details before submitting the form.
- After submission, school will verify the student’s SGCS-X application.
