CBSE gets new chairman

NEW DELHI: Manoj Ahuja, special director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration has been appointed chairman of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Manoj Ahuja is from the 1990 batch of officers of the Indian Administrative Service from the Odisha cadre.
The post has been lying vacant since Anita Karwal was appointed as the secretary of Department of School Education and Literacy, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
Anita Karwal was appointed CBSE chairperson in August, 2017.
