The CBSE vocational education webinars are being conducted based on the recommendations of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The policy recommended that the training for vocational education should begin at middle and secondary school level for its successful integration at high educational level.

The CBSE Board informed that these webinars are optional and it depends on the school’s decision on how such modules will be integrated into school curriculum. The official statement asserts that the modules do not require special investment of labs or subject teachers and the aim is only to provide tertiary level education exposure to students with an internal assessment procedure.
