NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the launch of a parenting calendar for the academic session 2025-26. The CBSE parenting calendar initiative aims to enhance parent-teacher collaboration, facilitate student well-being, and promote holistic development in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The official launch of CBSE parenting calendar will take place on March 28 at 4:00 pm on CBSE’s official YouTube channel.

Structure and implementation
The CBSE parenting calendar will include structured orientations, parent-teacher meetings, and initiatives to encourage school-parent interactions. The CBSE parenting calendar will also provide guidelines on ‘effective interaction’, enabling parents to stay engaged in their child’s learning journey.

The committee, led by Anuradha Joshi, principal of Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, includes educators from reputed institutions across the country. Members collaborated on virtual and offline platforms to ensure a well-structured framework for the CBSE parenting calendar’s development. The final recommendations were submitted by March 15, 2025.
