While CBSE is set to close the post-result grievance redressal process tomorrow, several students continue to report difficulties accessing the board's verification and re-evaluation portal. This comes even as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) maintains that the platform remains operational despite recent cyberattacks.

The latest concerns highlight complaints from students about login failures, verification errors and delays in receiving scanned copies of answer sheets required for re-evaluation.

One student, Ruhi, posted on X that she had repeatedly attempted to access the portal since its launch but was unable to proceed. She claims that the system displayed a 'verification failed' message despite her details being correct and linked with DigiLocker. Responding to the complaint, CBSE said, "Please check your DM. The CBSE team will assist you."

In multiple cases, CBSE responded with nearly identical messages, asking students to check their direct messages for assistance. The responses indicate that several students continue to face issues accessing the portal. Students are questioning if board plans to issue an extension if affected candidates are unable to complete the process before the deadline.

CBSE reports 63,119 re-evaluation requests

CBSE said that as of June 4, 2026, it had received 70,433 successful applications through its post-result grievance redressal process, including 7,314 applications for Verification of Marks and 63,119 applications for re-evaluation. The board also stated that the portal remained operational despite facing a "malicious Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack involving nearly 3.8 million packets" on June 3.

According to CBSE, the portal underwent security hardening, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and load testing before launch. The board further said the platform recorded approximately 1.5 million access requests within two minutes of going live and blocked more than 100,000 unauthorised access attempts. CBSE added that "the traffic profile showed coordinated high-volume request bursts consistent with DDoS-type patterns, which were successfully mitigated by the deployed security architecture."
