At first, the CBSE will conduct the Class 10 board exams twice in a year. The phase 1 of the Class 10 board exam will be compulsory for all the students. The phase 2 board exams will be conducted for students who wish to improve their scores and reduce exam stress.
It also announced that the board exams for sports and Olympiad students will be held during the phase 2 of the Class 10 board exams 2026.
Notably, several students expressed disappointment over the CBSE date sheet 2026 as, according to them, there were hardly any gaps for major subjects, including science, accountancy, and economics papers.
As per the time table, the physical education subject will be held on February 18, followed by science paper on February 20. Students are now demanding more time between the two.
Several examinees are worried about the one-day gaps between language science papers, while others pointed out that 20 days have been provided for the English exam.
