NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification regarding change in the exam centre for the CBSE board term 1 examination. Students who are residing in a city or country other than where they are studying due to Covid can apply for a change in the CBSE board exam centre.

‘The facility for change of examination city/country will be available to the students who are residing in some other city/country and not in the city/country where they are studying because of Covid. The students may request for: a. change of examination city/country for theory examinations. b. change of examination city/country for theory examinations and practical examination. c. change of examination city/country for practical examination.’ read the official notification.

Students can request for change in the exam centre city or country for term 1 theory and practical exams. To request for change in the exam centre, students need to contact their concerned schools and apply for the same by November 10, 2021. While making the request for a change in the exam centre, students will have to inform the schools the preferred location to appear in the examination.
Once all requests are received, schools will have to make a list and upload it on the CBSE board official website latest by November 12, 2021. Students must note that no requests will be accepted after November 10, 2021.
