The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will open the registration window for CBSE supplementary exams 2025 today for Class 10, 12 private students. Class 12 students will be permitted to register for improvement of marks in one subject, and Class 10 students can improve their scores in up to two subjects.

CBSE private students will have to submit their applications through the official website, cbse.nic.in. The application form opens on May 30, and will close on June 17. As per the CBSE supplementary exam date sheet 2025, Class 10, 12 exams will be held from July 15.

Students who are giving their CBSE supplementary exam 2025 for the first or third chance are eligible to apply for this.

Students who have given all the exams under ‘private’ and have been marked under ‘compartment’ for any subject will be eligible to apply. Those who were declared pass will have to choose improvement while filling the form. Students who have appeared as ‘regular’ in board exams 2023-24 are also eligible to apply, the board clarified.

CBSE Compartment Exam 2025: Fee details

Regular students who have appeared for board exams 2025 and received ‘compartment’ will have to submit their applications through their respective schools.

For the CBSE compartment exam 2025, students have to pay an application fee for each subject. The fee details are given below.

  • For private candidates in India: Rs 300 per subject

  • For private candidates in Nepal: Rs 1,000 per subject

  • For private candidates outside India: Rs 2,000 per subject

Students will have to pay a late fee of Rs 2,000, in addition to the application fee, if they miss the deadline. Students can make the fee payment through debit card, credit card, and net banking, as per the official circular.
