NEW DELHI: Minister of State for Education, Annapurna Devi will confer Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) teachers award to 22 teachers and principles of CBSE affiliated schools for excellence in teaching and school leadership, CBSE announced on social media.

Today, CBSE launched a two-year CBSE reading mission 2021-23 to promote reading literacy under the vision of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
This project will help students to gain the critical competency of reading along with comprehension, the CBSE statement said.

The CBSE will provide Hindi and English teachers of more than 25,000 schools with quality-reading materials for students of Classes 1 to 8, the statement said. The board will also offer some student enrichment activities on building language in turn enhancing reading skills of students, the statement said.
Moreover, CBSE is expected to announce the datesheet of term-1 board exams of Classes 10, 12 by October 10, as per India.com report. The term 1 board exam will be conducted in November-December. Students can check the datesheet on the official website.
