CBSE Class 10, 12 students irked over delay in term 1 result after CISCE result date announcement

NEW DELHI: Over 30 lakh students irked over the delay in CBSE Class 10, 12 term 1 result 2022. Although various media reports say that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the CBSE term 1 result 2022 in the first week of February, there is no official confirmation. Students have also been demanding clarity over the CBSE term 2 date sheet.

Meanwhile, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) today informed that the ICSE Class 10, ISC Class 12 results will be declared on February 7. After the CISCE announced the ICSE, ISC semester 1 result date, CBSE students have been demanding an update on CBSE term 1 result date.

On January 11, the CBSE official told Careers360 that the board will review the evaluation process in the third week of January. Once the CBSE term 1 results are out, students will be able to know their scores and download mark sheet from the official website, cbseresults.nic.in.

Several students have been requesting the board to declare the CBSE term 1 result along with the term 2 result.

“Cbse please declare that term 2 result will be declared along with term 2, after proper moderation and analysis keeping in mind the real picture of term 1, so that the students may be able to focus on term 2 in the remaining little time.”

With just a little over a month for exams, students are also anxious about the delay in an update on CBSE term 2 exam dates.

A student wrote on Twitter, “CBSE gives 8 months for term1 MCQ exam, doesn't release result for 2 months though it said it would, give 2 months for term 2 SUBJECTIVE OFFLINE exam and hasn't even released the date sheet for the exams to be held in 1.5 months. What r u doing #CBSE cancel boards.”

While a section of students also requested not to consider CBSE term 1 results due to mistakes in OMR sheets and other controversies that the board faced this year. The board had initially asked schools to check the CBSE term 1 OMR sheets on the same day. Later, schools were asked to send the answer scripts to the board's regional office.

Another student said, “Pls realsed term 2 datesheet first then realised term 1 results or I think don't realise results now because too late students divert or go in depression If marks no get as the expect. It is humble request me to CBSE board.”
