CBSE Class 12 Exam 2022 Live; Term 2 chemistry exam analysis, students reactions, Expert Opinion

• Section A is of 05 marks and has 06 questions on Employability Skills.
• Section B is 17 marks and has 16 questions on Subject specific Skills.
• Section C is of 08 marks and has 03 competency-based questions.

"Overall the question paper was easy to moderate on the difficulty level. 60% of the questions were straight out of the exercises mentioned in the textbook and the rest were slightly modified. The students felt that it was a high-scoring paper. They were happy as they were able to complete the paper in time and are expecting good marks," said Ashok Kumar, PGT-Chemistry, Vidyagan School, Bulandshahar. 

• Go to the official website cbseacademic.nic.in. 
• On the top of the home page, click on the 'Sample question paper' followed by 2021-22. 
• Then select Class 12, the list of subjects will be displayed on the screens. 
• Click on the subject name. The paper will get open on a new tab. Download it and use it for practice. 

The next major CBSE board Class 12 exam will be held on May 13, 2022 for English elective and English core. The exam will be held in offline mode across various exam centres. 

Students and teachers found the Class 12 CBSE term 2 chemistry paper easy and well balanced. The paper has NCERT based questions.

The next exam of CBSE Class 12 will be held for food production, office procedure & practices, and design subjects. Students who opted for these subjects will be able to appear through their allotted exam centres.

From the teacher's perspective, the paper was balanced and NCERT-based. Almost all the sections were easy and as per the syllabus. From the students' perspectives also they were satisfied and a few of them found it an average paper. And they are very sure of getting good marks, said Alok Bansal, Chemistry Teacher at Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad, as reported by NDTV.

The next CBSE Class 12 exam 2022 will be held on May 10, 2022, for Food Production, Office Procedure & Practices, Design. 

CBSE Board has successfully concluded the Class 12 chemistry exam 2022. The exam was commenced at 10:30 am, and a total of 2 hours were given to students to solve the question paper. 

In other news, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced that the top 10 meritorious students in Class 10 and Class 12 CG board examinations 2022 will be rewarded with a helicopter ride.

• Exam start time: 10:30 am
• Exam end time: 12:30 pm
• Total exam duration: 2 hours

CBSE Board has also released the additional practice questions for Class 12 board exams. Students can download these practice questions from the official website the CBSE academic and practice them. These practice questions are based on the latest CBSE board pattern. 

The exam analysis of CBSE Board Class 12 term 2 exam will be up soon. Students can check the analysis by experts to know the difficult level of the examination. 

Sample paper of chemistry class 12 CBSE 2021-22 term 2 along with the solutions are available on the official CBSE academic website. Students can download the same and refer to it for preparation. 

• SECTION A - Q. No. 1 to 3 are very short answer questions carrying 2 marks each.
• SECTION B - Q. No. 4 to 11 are short answer questions carrying 3 marks each.
• SECTION C- Q. No. 12 is case-based question carrying 5 marks.

Below are the topics included in the D and F block elements  for term 2:

General introduction, electronic configuration, occurrence and characteristics of transition metals, general trends in properties of the first row transition metals – metallic character, ionization enthalpy, oxidation states, ionic radii, colour, catalytic property, magnetic properties, interstitial compounds, alloy formation. Lanthanoids - Electronic configuration, oxidation states and lanthanoid contraction and its consequences. 

As mentioned in NCERTclass 12 chemistry pdf, the movement of colloidal particles under an applied electric potential is called electrophoresis.

CBSE Board Class 12 Chemistry exam 2021-22 has commenced at 10:30 am. The exam duration is 2 hours. The exam will conclude at 12:30 am. 

As per the  CBSE passing marks, students must score a minimum of 33 per cent marks in theory exams, practicals and internal assessments to pass the examination.

The term 2 sample question papers along with the marking scheme and solutions are released on the official website cbseacademic.nic.in. Students can download the same and refer to it. 

Below are the important topics of Coordination compounds - Introduction, ligands, coordination number, colour, magnetic properties and shapes, IUPAC nomenclature of mononuclear coordination compounds. Bonding, Werner's theory, VBT, and CFT.

As per NCERT Chemistry class 12, with concentrated nitric acid, phenol is converted to 2,4,6-trinitrophenol. The product is commonly known as Picric acid. 

CBSE board Class 12 Chemistry exam is about to start soon. Below are some important points for students.

The EDTA full form is Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid. As per NCERT chemistry class 12, Ethylenediaminetetraacetate ion (EDTA4–) is an important hexadentate ligand. It can bind through two nitrogen and four oxygen atoms to a central metal ion.
