CCMN 2024 Merit list: Tie-breaking rule

The CCMN 2024 merit list will be prepared based on the "Common Percentile" (calculated from the JAM Rank 2024) obtained by the candidate. If multiple candidates achieve the same "Common Percentile," the following criteria will be used to resolve ties:

  • Preference will be given to the candidate with the higher JAM 2024 score.

  • If candidates have identical JAM scores, their date of birth will be considered, with preference given to the elder candidate.

  • In the highly unlikely scenario where candidates share the same "Common Percentile," JAM score, and date of birth, rank will be determined by generating random numbers. The candidate with the lower random number will receive preference.
