NEW DELHI: The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) will announce the CDAC C-CAT 2024 ranks today, July 19. Candidates who applied for the Computerized Common Admission Test (C-CAT) will be able to check the CDAC C-CAT 2024 rank by visiting the official website, cdac.in.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and password to access the CDAC C-CAT 2024 rank. Candidates who qualify the CDAC C-CAT 2024 entrance exam will become eligible to participate in the counselling process.

As per the CDAC C-CAT 2024 schedule, the online selection of courses and centres against the first counselling will begin today and continue till July 29. The first round of seat allocation results has been declared on July 31, 2024.

CDAC C-CAT was conducted on July 6, 7 in offline mode. The exam is conducted annually in December or January and in June or July for candidates seeking admission to the post graduate diploma programmes.

CDAC C-CAT 2024 Rank: Tie-breaker rule

The CDAC C-CAT question paper will be divided into three sections: Section A, Section B, and Section C, each of one hour duration. Candidates can check the tie-breaker rule for CDAC C-CAT 2024 rank given below.

  • If two or more candidates have the same marks in Section A, Sections A+B, or Sections A+B+C, the candidate with higher marks in Section A will be ranked higher.

  • If the marks in Section A are also the same, the candidate with a higher ratio of ‘number of correct answers to number of attempted questions’ in the specific section required for that category of courses will be ranked higher.

  • Candidates with the same value of this ratio, as well as the same total and Section A marks, will be given the same C-CAT rank.
