NEW DELHI: The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) is conducting the CDAC C-CAT April 2021 exam in online mode today and tomorrow, i.e., April 3 & 4. CDAC C-CAT 2021 is conducted in English medium in online mode at the exam centres in India and candidates have the option to appear for the same from home as well.

The duration of the CDAC C-CAT exam 2021 is 1.5 hours (90 minutes) and there will be 75 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct response, while one mark will be reduced for every wrong answer.

CDAC C-CAT April 2021: Exam centre guidelines

  • Students should reach their allotted CDAC C-CAT 2021 exam hall before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute rush.

  • They must carry their CDAC C-CAT 2021 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centres.

  • Valid photo ID proof: Aadhaar card, driving license, voter ID, PAN card, passport, etc.

  • No candidates are allowed to enter the exam hall 30 minutes after the start of the exam.

  • Candidates must follow all the COVID-19 norms like wearing masks and social distancing at the exam centres.

CDAC C-CAT April 2021: Home-based exam guidelines

Students who opted for the home-based test have to keep the following parameters ready,

  • Laptops or PCs with a high-speed uninterrupted internet connection.

  • Check microphone and webcam are working effectively.

  • Make a proper seating arrangement.

  • Make sure that the laptop is fully charged and also no interruption of electricity connection.

CDAC C-CAT: COVID-19 Guidelines

  • Candidates have to wear a new mask before their entry into the exam centre and they need to maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available at various places inside the exam centre to allow candidates and staff to sanitize their hands.

  • Seating area, keyboard, monitor, mouse, webcam, and desk to be thoroughly sanitized after each shift.

  • Door handles, lift buttons, switches, and staircase railing to be disinfected.
