CDS 1 Result 2019 for Written Exam Announced; 7953 Candidates Qualified for SSB Interview

NEW DELHI, April 9:
Union Public Service Commission has declared the result of written exam of CDS 1 on April 9, 2019. The result has been announced on the official website of UPSC - https://upsc.gov.in/. The result is available in pdf format with the roll numbers of qualified candidates. According to the result data, 7953 candidates have been shortlisted for appearing in the SSB interview.

CDS result 2019,
candidates can download the result pdf and check their roll numbers. Shortlisted candidates in the written exam have to register online on the Indian Army Recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks to appear for SSB Interview. The registered candidates will be allotted SSB selection centres and dates through the email to the registered email ID.
The qualified candidates will have to submit the original certificates in support of age (Date of Birth), educational qualifications, NCC (C) (Army Wing/Senior Division Air Wing/Naval Wing) etc along with its attested copies to Army Headquarters within two weeks of completion of the SSB Interview.
The exam conducting authority, UPSC will release the final merit list of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in written exam and SSB Interview. The finally recommended candidates will be able to check the marks scored in written exam and SSB Interview after the release of mark sheet by UPSC.
UPSC conducts CDS exam twice a year. For CDS 1 (2019) exam as many as 417 vacancies announced. The selected candidates based on their performance and preference will be recruited as Commissioned Officers in three defence services - Navy, Air Force, Army and Officers Training Academy.
