CDS 2 result 2018 announced on Jan 2; 7650 candidates qualify

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 2: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the result of CDS 2 written exam on January 2, 2019. The result of CDS 2 comprises the roll number of candidates selected for SSB Interview. According to the official notification, as many as 7650 candidates have qualified the written exam. Candidates who had appeared for the exam on November 18 can check and download the result in PDF from the official website – http://www.upsc.gov.in/ .

Candidates who have qualified the written exam will have to register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks. Candidates will then be allotted Selection Centres and dates. The same will be sent to the registered email ID of candidates.
Candidates are also required to submit the original certificates in support of age (Date of Birth), educational qualifications, NCC (C) (Army Wing/Senior Division Air Wing/Naval Wing) etc along with its attested copies to Army Headquarters. They will have to submit the certificated within two weeks of completion of the SSB Interview.
The marksheet of candidates who have not qualified the exam will be released by UPSC within 15 days from the date of release of final result of Officers Training Academy (OTA). The marksheet will be available for 30 days.
The final CDS result 2018 will be declared after completion of SSB Interview. Candidates will be offered admission to the respective defence academies based on their performance in SSB Interview and written exam.
CDS is conducted twice in a year for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, Officers Training Academy, Chennai and Officers Training Academy, Chennai.
