CDS 2021: Dress code to be followed at exam center and other guidelines

NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) prescribed the CDS 2021 dress code in an official notification. Candidates appearing for CDS 2021 are required to check the things to carry for the CDS exam, dress code and other guidelines before appearing for the exam. In the wake of COVID-19, the UPSC has made some changes in CDS dress code 2021. Candidates can get more details here.

As per the CDS 2021 dress code, candidates are allowed to wear face masks and hand sanitizer inside the exam hall. Applicants should follow all the UPSC COVID-19 guidelines in the CDS exam 2021. Candidates must carry CDS 1 2021 admit card on the exam day.

Changes in CDS dress code 2021

Candidates are advised to adhere to the CDS 2021 dress code mentioned below.

• Face mask is mandatory for all candidates

• Wearing hand gloves is allowed inside the CDS exam centre.

CDS 2021 dress code for boys

• Candidates are not allowed to wear cap and muffler inside the CDS exam hall.

• Applicants must not wear any hand bracelet or electronic device.

• Candidates should not wear shorts to the exam hall.

CDS 2021 dress code for girls

• Candidates are not allowed to wear any jewellery inside the exam hall.

• Designed and artificial items are not allowed in CDS 1 2021 exam.

• Candidates are not allowed to carry bags inside the exam hall.

CDS 1 2021: Exam day guidelines

• Candidates must reach the CDS exam centre 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

• Applicants must carry one valid photo id proof along with the CDS 1 2021 admit card.

• Mobile phones, calculators or any of the IT gadgets are not allowed inside the exam hall.

• Candidates must adhere to CDS dress code 2021.

CDS 1 2021

Applicants who clear the CDS 1 2021 exam will be called for an SSB interview. If a candidate clears the interview, they will be called for a medical examination for further selection.
