CGPSC Mains 2020 Postponed due to COVID-19, Chhattisgarh PSC to announce new dates soon on cgpsc.gov.in
CGPSC Raipur has postponed the Mains exam of their state competitive exam due to COVID-19. CGPSC will notify the new dates 15 days before the exam.

NEW DELHI: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has postponed the CGPSC Mains 2020 exam. CGPSC Raipur released a notification on its official website psc.cg.gov.in , related to the same. The CGPSC Mains exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted in offline mode on June 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2021. The decision has been taken by CGPSC due to the rapid increase in the novel coronavirus cases all over the state and the lockdown which was followed after.

CGPSC released the Mains application form 2021 on April 9. The last date to fill the CGPSC application form 2021 is May 8, 2021. Applicants can fill the application form from the CGPSC official website. Aspirants who cleared the CGPSC prelims exam are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The mains exam of CGPSC will be conducted in offline, descriptive mode.
Chhatisgarh was one of the worst-hit states recently with the increase in active cases and deaths. Chhatisgarh imposed a state-wise strict lockdown from April 20, 2021.
CGPSC State Service Exam
CGPSC exam is conducted in three stages - preliminary, mains and interview. Applicants who qualify for the prelims exam are eligible to appear for the mains followed by the interview. Candidates clearing all stages of the CGPSC exam will be recruited to Group A and B posts in the state of Chhattisgarh.
