CGPSC SSE 2023 provisional merit list out at psc.cg.gov.in; 703 candidates appeared for interview

NEW DELHI: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has issued the provisional merit list for the State Service Exam (SSE) 2023. Eligible candidates who appear for the written exam and interview can download the CGPSC SSE 2023 merit list through the official website at psc.cg.gov.in.

The list includes the names of 703 candidates who appeared for the CGPSC SSE 2023 interview. The commission prepared the merit list based on the combined marks from the written examination and interview.

The commission informed that this merit list is not a selection list, and candidates need to meet specific criteria to be considered for the allocation of posts. “A separate selection list will be issued after the allocation of posts based on the merit order of the candidates on the basis of the Advance Recognition Certificate,” the official notice read.

As per the official notice, candidates who secured at least 33% marks in each paper of the written examination will be eligible for allocation to unreserved posts. Candidates from reserved categories who obtained a minimum of 23% marks in each paper but less than 33% will be considered for reserved posts.

The CGPSC SSE 2023 main exam was conducted on June 24, 25, 26, and 27, 2024. A total of 3,597 candidates were selected to appear for the SSE Main exam 2023. Based on the results of the written exam, 703 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the interview.

The commission conducted the CGPSC SSE 2023 interviews from November 18, 2024, to November 28, 2024. According to the official notice, all 703 candidates appeared for the interview, with no candidates found ineligible or absent. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 242 vacancies.
