Chandigarh University student bags highest salary package of Rs 52.11 lakh per annum

Chandigarh University placements: Computer Science and engineering student with a specialisation in cloud computing secured the highest package at Charter Global Inc.
NEW DELHI: Chandigarh University saw over 757 companies offering more than 7500 offers in placements 2021-22. The highest annual salary package is Rs 52.11 lakh per annum offered by Charter Global.

The companies such as Amazon, Flipkart, Deloitte, IBM, Earnest Young, Bank of America, Microsoft etc. were among the top recruiters at campus placements.

Over 15 companies offered a salary package of Rs 20 lakh, over 30 companies offered a salary package of Rs 15 lakh, more than 70 companies offered that of Rs 10 lakh, while over 290 companies extended offers worth Rs 5 lakh and above, according to a statement from the university.
The highest placement package was secured by a student of computer science and engineering stream with a specialization in cloud computing with IBM. The student Dinesh Potla secured a salary package of Rs 52.11 lakh from Charter Global Inc.

According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework ( NIRF ) data, in the year 2019-20, around 2,904 undergraduate students graduated and 1,151 were placed with a median salary of Rs 4,80,000 lakh. Whereas 91 postgraduate students were placed out of 131 with a median salary of Rs 5,72,000 lakh.
