CHSE Odisha 12th Result 2025: Nayagarh, Bargarh top in science, commerce, arts streams; girls outshine boys

The Odisha school and mass education minister, Nityananda Gond, today released the Class 12th result booklet at CHSE headquarters in Bhubaneswar. Out of the 3.9 lakh students, 3,82,729 appeared in the higher secondary 12th board exam this year. Of the total, 3,16,787 students have been declared pass.
Girls outperformed boys with a pass rate of 87.24% compared to 77.88% for boys. The state also saw more participation of girls in the Class 12 board exam. As per the CHSE Class 12th result 2025, 1,42,512 boys and 1,74,251 girls have qualified for higher studies.
Students will be able to view and download the provisional marksheet from the CHSE Odisha official websites, result.chseodisha.nic.in, orissaresults.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and results.odisha.gov.in.
CHSE 12th Result Declared: Stream-wise results
The minister also announced stream-wise CHSE Odisha 12th result 2025 for science, commerce, and arts streams. The science stream saw an increase of 1 percentage point in pass rate, while the performance of commerce and arts remained almost the same as last year.

Notably, 1,01,914 (over 1 lakh) students have been placed in first division, 67,815 in second division, and 1,43,349 in third division.
In the arts stream, Bargarh district recorded the highest pass percentage at 87.60%, while Nabarangpur had the lowest at 68.13%. In the science and commerce streams, Nayagarh district achieved the highest pass percentages at 97.58% and 93.71%, respectively. Whereas, Boudh and Bolangir districts recorded the lowest pass percentages in science and commerce streams, with 71.85% and 68.19%, respectively.
