The academic performance of girls has surpassed boys in Class 12 examinations 2024. Girls secured a pass percentage of 98.92%, outshining the 97.53% pass percentage attained by boys.

It is important to note that starting in 2024, the ICSE and ISC compartment exams have been discontinued. However, improvement exams will continue to be offered.

The CISCE has declared the results for the Class 10 and 12 examinations. To access the ICSE and ISC results for the year 2024, candidates can visit the council's official websites - cisce.org and results.cisce.org. They must provide their unique ID, index number, and the captcha code displayed on the login page. According to the council, the pass percentage for ICSE (Class 10) is 99.47%, while for ISC (Class 12) it is 98.19%. Notably, female candidates have achieved a higher pass percentage in both classes.

The council refrained from disclosing the names of the ICSE and ISC toppers to prevent the occurrence of "unhealthy competition" among the students.

The ISC exam was administered in a total of 47 written subjects, consisting of 12 Indian languages, 4 Foreign languages, and 2 Classical languages. The examination for ISC commenced on February 12, 2024, and concluded on April 4, 2024, spanning a duration of 28 days.

The ICSE Examination covered 60 written subjects, including 20 Indian languages, 13 Foreign languages, and 1 Classical language. The Examination for ICSE commenced on February 21, 2024, and ended on March 28, 2024, spanning over 18 days.

The Northern region, which includes states such as Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi & NCR, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, accounts for the maximum number of entries. In contrast, the Southern region in India boasts the highest pass percentage at 99.53%, with the Western region following closely behind at 99.32%. Moreover, the Western region in India has the highest percentage of female candidates at 50.55% who participated in the examination.

ISC Result 2024

• In the ICSE exam, a total of 2,43,617 students appeared, with 1,30,506 boys (53.57%) and 1,13,111 girls (46.43%). For the ISC exam, 99,901 students participated, with 52,765 boys (52.82%) and 47,136 girls (47.18%).
• Girls have performed better than boys in both classes. In ICSE (Class 10), the pass percentage for girls is 99.65%, higher than the 99.31% for boys. Similarly, in Class 12, female students achieved a pass percentage of 98.92%, surpassing the 97.53% for boys.

Of the 236 individuals with learning difficulties, 18 candidates scored above 90%. Additionally, there were 11 visually challenged candidates, with 2 of them achieving marks above 90%.

There were 1,088 candidates with learning difficulty cases, out of which 98 candidates achieved marks above 90%. Additionally, there were 40 visually challenged cases, with 12 candidates scoring above 90%.

• 5,194 candidates from the Scheduled Caste category participated in the examination and obtained a pass percentage of 97.71%. 
• In contrast, 3,600 candidates from the Scheduled Tribe category appeared for the examination and achieved a pass percentage of 96.97%. 
• Additionally, 17,074 candidates from the Other Backward Classes category took the examination and secured a pass percentage of 98.25%.

• In the examination, 15,026 candidates from the Scheduled Caste category passed with a success rate of 99.11%.
•  Additionally, 8,255 candidates from the Scheduled Tribe category passed with a success rate of 98.39%. 
• Furthermore, 56,803 candidates from the Other Backward Classes category passed with a success rate of 99.52%.

• In terms of pass percentage, the Western region in India holds the top position with a remarkable 99.91%, while the Southern region closely follows with a pass percentage of 99.88%.
• When it comes to the representation of girls in the examination, the Southern region takes the lead in India, with a percentage of 49.52% of girls who appeared for the exam.

In the ICSE exam, 2695 schools participated, with 82.48% (2223) schools achieving a 100% pass percentage. There were 2503 Examination Centres and 709 Evaluation Centres for this exam. On the other hand, in the ISC examination, 1366 schools presented candidates, with 66.18% (904) schools attaining a 100% pass percentage. The ISC exam had 1285 Examination Centres and 887 evaluation centres.

ICSE, ISC Result 2024

The ISC result 2024 has been officially announced by the Council for Indian School Certification Examinations (CISCE) on May 6, 2024, at 11 am. The CISCE board has made the ISC 12th result 2024 available online on their official website, cisce.org. To check their Class 12 ISC result 2024, students are required to provide their Course Code, Candidate UID, Index number, and Captcha.

The online Re-evaluation module will only be accessible for 24 hours following the announcement of results for Recheck requests submitted for the ICSE / ISC Year 2024 exams. The recheck results date will be released via the CISCE website (https://cisce.org).

The ICSE and ISC examinations commenced on February 21 and were initially planned to conclude on April 3. Nevertheless, the examinations were extended until April 4 due to the rescheduling of two papers. The Class 12 Chemistry paper, originally scheduled for February 26, was postponed to March 21 due to unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, the Class 12 Psychology examination was rescheduled to April 4 from May 27 after a question paper packet was reported as "lost" at one of the exam centers.

Once the result is announced, the ICSE result 2024 will be available on CISCE’s website: cisce.org or results.cisce.org , on the CAREERS portal, and on the DigiLocker Portal.

The online Re-evaluation module will only be accessible for a duration of 24 hours following the announcement of results for Recheck requests submitted for the ICSE / ISC Year 2024 Examinations. Candidates who desire to enhance their marks/grades within the same year of the exam have the option to participate in the Improvement Examination for a maximum of two subjects.

The Improvement Examination is scheduled to take place in July 2024. All relevant information regarding the examination will be made available on the official website of CISCE: cisce.org soon.

• Candidates have the option to submit a request for Re-evaluation by accessing the "Public Services" menu link on the CISCE's official website: https://cisce.org
• They must click on the Login to CISCE Service Portal button and enter their registered email address and password. If they do not have an account, they can create one by selecting "Register Now".
• School administrators can request Re-evaluation for their school's candidates through the CAREERS Portal.

• The fee for rechecking the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) Year 2024 results will be RS 1,000 per paper, per candidate.
• The recheck option will be accessible from May 6, 2024, after the results are announced, until May 10, 2024. Any requests for rechecking the ICSE / ISC examination results of the year 2024 beyond this period will not be considered.

• Applicants and other interested parties have the option to request a Recheck of results by accessing the "Public Services" menu link on the CISCE's official website: https://cisce.org.
• To proceed, users must click on the designated button labeled "Login to CISCE Service Portal" and provide their registered email address and password. In the event that an account has not been created, individuals can easily do so by selecting the "Register Now" option.
• Additionally, the Head of Schools has the privilege to apply for the Recheck of results for their respective school candidates via the CAREERS Portal.

The Recheck module will become active once the results are announced on May 6, 2024, and will remain accessible until May 10, 2024. Any additional appeals for result rechecks for the ICSE/ISC Examination Year 2024 will not be considered after this period. CISCE will declare the results for all recheck requests received within four weeks, and they will be published on the CISCE website (www.cisce.org).

• Upon accessing the CAREERS Portal, select the ‘Examination’ tile.
• Navigate to the Menu Bar and choose ‘ICSE’ to view the ICSE (Class X) Year 2024 Examination Results, and select ‘ISC’ to view the ISC (Class XII) Year 2024 Examination Results.
• Within the ICSE / ISC menu, click on ‘Reports’.
• Select the ‘Result Tabulation’ option to either view or print the School's Result Tabulation.

The Tabulation Register will be accessible on the CAREERS Portal of CISCE for schools to view or print. Schools can log into the CAREERS Portal using the School Principal's login ID and password to access the Tabulation Register.

According to the official announcement, the Class 10 and 12 board results will be published by CISCE on May 6 at 11 am. As soon as the results are declared, students will be able to check their scores on the official websites, cisce.org or results.cisce.org.
