NEW DELHI: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the results for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations 2024. The CISCE has announced the ICSE 10th and ISC 12th results today at 11 am. Students can access their CISCE exam results 2024 online through the official website: results.cisce.org.
In the ICSE 2024 results, out of 2,43,617 students who appeared in exams, 2,42,328 have been declared passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 99.47%. For ISC 2024, out of 99,901 students who appeared, 98,088 have been declared passed, yielding a pass percentage of 98.19%.
To access their ICSE and ISC results for 2024, students need to visit the official CISCE result website at results.cisce.org. They should enter their unique credentials, such as their UID and index number and other necessary details, to view their results.
The CISCE has published the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) result link on the official website. Students from both classes can use various platforms, including the official website, and DigiLocker to check their ICSE and ISC results for 2024.

The ISC Class 12 and ICSE Class 10 results has been announced today, i.e., May 6, 2024 by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. A total of 99,901 students appeared for ISC exam 2024, out of which 98,088 students (98.19% ) cleared the ISC Class 12 exam 2024.
A total of 2,43,617 students appeared for the ICSE 10th examination, out of which 2,42,328 (99.47%) students cleared the ICSE 10th exam 2024.
The academic performance of girls has surpassed boys in Class 12 examinations 2024. Girls secured a pass percentage of 98.92%, outshining the 97.53% pass percentage attained by boys.
This year, girls scored better than boys in the ICSE examination 2024.
It is important to note that starting in 2024, the ICSE and ISC compartment exams have been discontinued. However, improvement exams will continue to be offered.
The CISCE has declared the results for the Class 10 and 12 examinations. To access the ICSE and ISC results for the year 2024, candidates can visit the council's official websites - cisce.org and results.cisce.org. They must provide their unique ID, index number, and the captcha code displayed on the login page. According to the council, the pass percentage for ICSE (Class 10) is 99.47%, while for ISC (Class 12) it is 98.19%. Notably, female candidates have achieved a higher pass percentage in both classes.
The council refrained from disclosing the names of the ICSE and ISC toppers to prevent the occurrence of "unhealthy competition" among the students.
The ISC exam was administered in a total of 47 written subjects, consisting of 12 Indian languages, 4 Foreign languages, and 2 Classical languages. The examination for ISC commenced on February 12, 2024, and concluded on April 4, 2024, spanning a duration of 28 days.
The ICSE Examination covered 60 written subjects, including 20 Indian languages, 13 Foreign languages, and 1 Classical language. The Examination for ICSE commenced on February 21, 2024, and ended on March 28, 2024, spanning over 18 days.
The Northern region, which includes states such as Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi & NCR, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, accounts for the maximum number of entries. In contrast, the Southern region in India boasts the highest pass percentage at 99.53%, with the Western region following closely behind at 99.32%. Moreover, the Western region in India has the highest percentage of female candidates at 50.55% who participated in the examination.
Of the 236 individuals with learning difficulties, 18 candidates scored above 90%. Additionally, there were 11 visually challenged candidates, with 2 of them achieving marks above 90%.
There were 1,088 candidates with learning difficulty cases, out of which 98 candidates achieved marks above 90%. Additionally, there were 40 visually challenged cases, with 12 candidates scoring above 90%.

The pass percentage for girls is 99.65%, while boys have achieved a pass percentage of 99.31%.

The pass percentage for girls stands at an impressive 98.92%, while boys have achieved a commendable pass percentage of 97.53%.

In the ICSE exam, 2695 schools participated, with 82.48% (2223) schools achieving a 100% pass percentage. There were 2503 Examination Centres and 709 Evaluation Centres for this exam. On the other hand, in the ISC examination, 1366 schools presented candidates, with 66.18% (904) schools attaining a 100% pass percentage. The ISC exam had 1285 Examination Centres and 887 evaluation centres.

The online Re-evaluation module will only be accessible for 24 hours following the announcement of results for Recheck requests submitted for the ICSE / ISC Year 2024 exams. The recheck results date will be released via the CISCE website (https://cisce.org).
The ICSE and ISC examinations commenced on February 21 and were initially planned to conclude on April 3. Nevertheless, the examinations were extended until April 4 due to the rescheduling of two papers. The Class 12 Chemistry paper, originally scheduled for February 26, was postponed to March 21 due to unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, the Class 12 Psychology examination was rescheduled to April 4 from May 27 after a question paper packet was reported as "lost" at one of the exam centers.
Once the result is announced, the ICSE result 2024 will be available on CISCE’s website: cisce.org or results.cisce.org , on the CAREERS portal, and on the DigiLocker Portal.

Candidates who desire to enhance their marks/grades within the same year of the exam have the option to participate in the Improvement Examination for a maximum of two subjects.
The Improvement Examination is scheduled to take place in July 2024. All relevant information regarding the examination will be made available on the official website of CISCE: cisce.org soon.
The Recheck module will become active once the results are announced on May 6, 2024, and will remain accessible until May 10, 2024. Any additional appeals for result rechecks for the ICSE/ISC Examination Year 2024 will not be considered after this period. CISCE will declare the results for all recheck requests received within four weeks, and they will be published on the CISCE website (www.cisce.org).
The Tabulation Register will be accessible on the CAREERS Portal of CISCE for schools to view or print. Schools can log into the CAREERS Portal using the School Principal's login ID and password to access the Tabulation Register.
According to the official announcement, the Class 10 and 12 board results will be published by CISCE on May 6 at 11 am. As soon as the results are declared, students will be able to check their scores on the official websites, cisce.org or results.cisce.org.
