NEW DELHI: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) 10th and Indian School Certificate (ISC) 12th results 2025. 99.02% candidates passed ISC Class 12 exams while the pass percentage of ICSE Class 10 students dropped from last year's 99.47% to 99.09% this year. ICSE 10th result 2025 and ISC 12th result 2025 through the CISCE websites, cisce.org and results.cisce.org.
A total of 2,52,557 students appeared for ICSE board exams 2025, of which, 2,50,249 have been declared pass. 99.37% girls passed the exams while boys recorded 98.84%. In ISC Class 12, 99,551 wrote the exams while 98,578 have been declared successful. 99.45% female candidates cleared the exams while the pass percentage of male stands at 98.64%.
"Candidates and stakeholders can check the results using the CISCE website, DigiLocker, or the CAREERS portal of the board," CISCE chief executive Joseph Emmanuel said. The improvement exams for Class 10 ICSE and Class 12 ISC will be conducted in July.
As per the last year’s ISC results, a total of 99,901 students wrote the Class 12 board exam and recorded an overall pass percentage of 98.19%. Out of this, 98.92% girls cleared the exam and 97.53 % boys passed.
A total of 2,43,617 Class 10 students appeared in the ICSE board exam. As per the previous year’s ICSE results, the overall pass percentage stood at 99.47%. Of the total, 1,30,506 boys and 1,13,111 girls appeared in the exam and recorded 53.57 % and 46.43 % respectively.

In the ICSE Result 2025, the Western region recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.83%, with the Southern region following closely at 99.73%.
Tamil Nadu emerged as the top performer in ICSE Class 10 with a pass percentage of 99.95%, followed closely by Kerala at 99.94% and Maharashtra at 99.90%. In ISC Class 12 result 2025, Kerala recorded a perfect 100%. The second and third best performers were Tamil Nadu with 99.97% and Maharashtra at 99.81%.
Students affiliated to ICSE schools in Karnataka achieved a pass percentage of 99.70%. A total of 29,745 candidates including 14,953 (50.27%) boys and 14,792 (49.73%) girls took the exam. 99.82% of girls cleared the exam while boys recorded 99.58%.
In Haryana, 99.81% ICSE students passed the exams while the ISC candidates recorded a pass rate of 99.90%.
In Andhra Pradesh, a total of 5,310 candidates appeared for the ICSE exams 2025, including 49.40% boys (2,623) and 50.60% girls (2,687). For the ISC exams, 530 candidates appeared, comprising 53.40% boys (283) and 46.60% girls (247). The overall pass percentage stands at 99.42% for ICSE and 99.06% for ISC. Notably, girls outperformed boys in both Class 10, 12 examinations. In ICSE, girls recorded a pass percentage of 99.67%, while boys scored slightly lower at 99.16%. Similarly, in the ISC exams, 99.60% girls passed compared to 98.59% boys.
In Uttar Pradesh, 98.40% passed ICSE exams while ISC 12th students recorded a pass rate of 98.82%.

In ICSE 10th result 2025, the Western part of India recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.83% followed by the Southern region with 99.73%.
This year too, girls have done better than boys in ICSE 10th result 2025. 99.37% girl students passed Class 10 exams while the pass percentage of boys stands at 98.84%.
The ISC Class 12 students have recorded a pass percentage of 99.02% this year in CISCE ISC 12th board exams 2025, slightly higher as compared to last year.
The overall pass percentage of ICSE Class 12 students has dropped from 99.47% last year to 99.02% this year.
While downloading the CISCE result 2025, students will be required to enter a captcha code along with their unique ID and index number. The captcha code is a combination of numbers and letters generated automatically for safety purposes.
Students are required to obtain at least 33% marks in the ICSE exams 2025. Those who failed in one or two subjects will get the chance to apply and appear for the supplementary exams 2025. The ICSE Class 10 supplementary exams 2025 will be held in July.
In order to calculate ISC percentage, students will have to add marks obtained in three highest scoring subjects and English. Then, divide the number by 4 and multiply by 100.

They will have to click on the 'Login to CISCE Service Portal' button and enter their registered email address and password. If they do not have an account, they can create one by selecting "Register Now". School administrators can request for revaluation for their candidates through the CAREERS Portal.

CISCE announced some major changes in ISC exams starting from 2025 academic session.
