CISCE Result 2025 (Out) LIVE: ICSE, ISC results on cisce.org; 99.02% clear 12th, 10th pass rate drops

Tamil Nadu emerged as the top performer in ICSE Class 10 with a pass percentage of 99.95%, followed closely by Kerala at 99.94% and Maharashtra at 99.90%. In ISC Class 12 result 2025, Kerala recorded a perfect 100%. The second and third best performers were Tamil Nadu with 99.97% and Maharashtra at 99.81%.

Students affiliated to ICSE schools in Karnataka achieved a pass percentage of 99.70%. A total of 29,745 candidates including 14,953 (50.27%) boys and 14,792 (49.73%) girls took the exam. 99.82% of girls cleared the exam while boys recorded 99.58%. 

In Haryana, 99.81% ICSE students passed the exams while the ISC candidates recorded a pass rate of 99.90%. 

In Uttar Pradesh, 98.40% passed ICSE exams while ISC 12th students recorded a pass rate of 98.82%. 

• 16,304 Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates took the exam achieving a pass percentage of 98.71%
• 9,142 Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates wrote the exam recording a pass percentage of 97.28%
• 61,919 Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates appeared for the exam, achieving a pass percentage of 99.13%

In ISC Class 12 exams 2025, the Southern region has the best pass percentage of 99.76%, followed by Western region having a pass rate of 99.72%.

In ICSE 10th result 2025, the Western part of India recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.83% followed by the Southern region with 99.73%. 

This year too, girls have done better than boys in ICSE 10th result 2025. 99.37% girl students passed Class 10 exams while the pass percentage of boys stands at 98.84%. 

The ISC Class 12 students have recorded a pass percentage of 99.02% this year in CISCE ISC 12th board exams 2025, slightly higher as compared to last year. 

The overall pass percentage of ICSE Class 12 students has dropped from 99.47% last year to 99.02% this year. 

While downloading the CISCE result 2025, students will be required to enter a captcha code along with their unique ID and index number. The captcha code is a combination of numbers and letters generated automatically for safety purposes.

Students are required to obtain at least 33% marks in the ICSE exams 2025. Those who failed in one or two subjects will get the chance to apply and appear for the supplementary exams 2025. The ICSE Class 10 supplementary exams 2025 will be held in July. 

In order to calculate ISC percentage, students will have to add marks obtained in three highest scoring subjects and English. Then, divide the number by 4 and multiply by 100.

99.47% students passed the ICSE Class 10 exams last year with 2,223 schools achieving a 100% pass rate. CISCE will declare this year's ICSE 2025 results shortly on cisce.org and results.cisce.org. 

Starting from the 2025-26 academic session, there will be a 25% increase in the competency-based questions in the ISC and ICSE board exams, CISCE had said last year. Revision of curriculum was also on the cards.

Students can check their old ICSE result by visiting the result website of CISCE at results.cisce.org. They will be required to enter their login credentials to access the ICSE Class 10 results. 

CISCE warned students about third-party apps and unofficial websites displaying the ICSE 10th result 2025 and asked them to check the official website, cisce.org, for all kinds of updates. 

Candidates who do not feel satisfied with their ISC Class 12 results 2025 will get the option to submit a request for revaluation by accessing the "Public Services" menu link on the CISCE's official website, cisce.org. They will have to click on the 'Login to CISCE Service Portal' button and enter their registered email address and password. If they do not have an account, they can create one by selecting "Register Now". School administrators can request for revaluation for their candidates through the CAREERS Portal.

No, there will be no ICSE merit list 2025. The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has discontinued announcing or publishing merit lists for Class 10 board exams to avoid unhealth competition. 

CISCE announced some major changes in ISC exams starting from 2025 academic session. The council will issue a single pass certificate cum statement of marks to students who qualify ISC Class 12 exams. The marksheet will now say 'qualified' or 'not qualified' instead of 'pass certificate awarded' and 'pass certificate not awarded'.
