NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will conduct CLAT 2020 today from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam will be conducted in online mode at 203 exam centres across the country.

Candidates have been asked to report at their allotted test centres one hour before the commencement of the exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall after 15 minutes of commencement of the exam.
No COVID-19 positive candidates to appear in CLAT
The Consortium has made it clear they will not allow the COVID+ candidates to appear in CLAT 2020. Candidates who are in isolation or under COVID related medical surveillance are also barred from appearing in the exam. The decision to exclude such candidates is being taken considering the safety of other candidates and staff members.
Separate isolation labs for candidates with temperature < 99.1
As per the exam day guidelines issued by the conducting body, candidates will have to undergo thermal screening at the entry gate of the test centre. Candidates who report more than 99.1-degree temperatures will be shifted to an isolation room.
In the isolation lab, candidates will be provided with 3 ply masks and gloves for appearing in the examination. The staff inside the isolation lab will be equipped with PPE kit and other safety measures.
Things candidates need to carry
Mask and Gloves
CLAT admit card and a government-approved photo ID card
A simple pen (blue or black)
Personal transparent water bottle
Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
duly filled Medical Self-Declaration form
CLAT 2020: Inside the exam hall
Candidates will be allowed to enter inside the CLAT exam centre only after thermal screening. After getting entry in the test centre, candidates will have to show the CLAT admit card for barcode scanning.
Inside the exam hall, candidates will have to sign on the admit card of CLAT 2020 in the presence of the invigilator.
Rough sheets to be provided inside test hall
Before the commencement of the examination, candidates will be provided with a few rough sheets. As per the CLAT 2020 instructions, candidates will have to write their roll number on top of each rough sheet. Once the exam concludes, candidates will have to deposit all the rough sheets in a dropbox that will be provided at the test centre.
CLAT answer key to be released in the evening
As per the post exam schedule released by the Consortium, CLAT 2020 answer key (provisional) will be released in the evening at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates who have issues against the provisional CLAT 2020 answer key may share raise objections till September 29 (12:00 am). The final answer key will be uploaded on October 3.
CLAT 2020 result and counselling
The Consortium will declare the CLAT result on October 5. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear in counselling and seat allotment process which will be conducted from October 5 to October 15.
