The decision over CLAT exam date 2021 is likely to be taken soon. Earlier, the consortium had announced that it will make the decision regarding the exam date only after reviewing the pandemic situation across the country. Given the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the CLAT 2021 is likely to be postponed to the next date.
The student fraternity is now requesting the consortium to postpone CLAT 2021 to the next date as COVID-19 continue to wreak havoc across the country. Many students took to Twitter to express their concerns over holding CLAT amid the pandemic and requested the consortium to postpone the exam.
A student shared her response from CLAT officials stating that the decision on the exam date will be taken on May 15 (today).
Thank you for giving a fixed date, helps. We hope you will make the correct decision and #Postpone_clat_2021 #PostponeClat2021 @VC_NALSAR @EduMinOfIndia pic.twitter.com/tonQD0hVoc

It's a Request to consortium, please postpone the exam ASAP. When major exams of India can be postponed, just in order to save lives! Then why can't CLAT 2021 be postponed?#PostponeClat2021#postponeclat https://t.co/DBUEteyXET
Another user Aditya Rai expressed his displeasure over the CLAT schedule and requested a postponement of the exam.
CLAT has been scheduled for June 13th. It's strange they've made no announcements to postpone it. India is still reporting a high number of COVID-19 cases and most students are still not vaccinated. It's extremely unsafe to hold the exam now. Postpone!#Postpone_clat_2021

Similarly, Divoraj R Nair expressed his inability to travel to another city for appearing in CLAT 2021, on June 13, 2021.
The Trains are cancelled also the Covid-19 cases are increasing. I am from Kannur District of Kerala. I am unable to go Calicut for Exam. Please Postpone CLAT 2021. #PostponeClat2021

As of now, there is no official update from the Consortium of NLUs regarding the CLAT 2021 exam date. However, a pandemic situation and an incomplete vaccination drive would mean that holding CLAT 2021 on June 13 would not be feasible.
