CLAT Result 2023 (Out) Live: Download scorecard at consortiumofnlus.ac.in; Abhinav Somani, Gnanankit top exam

The Consortium of National Law Universities has constituted a Grievance Redressal Committee to respond to any grievances that candidates may have related to the Common Law Admission Test 2023. Grievances may be filed between 9:00 am on Monday, December 26, 2022 until 9:00 am on Thursday, December 29, 2022. No further grievances will be considered after that time. 

The topper in CLAT 2023 PG is from Chhattisgarh who secured 99.99 percentile, AIR 2 is from Haryana who secured 99.98 percentile and CLAT PG 2023 AIR 3 is from Haryana and secured 99.97 percentile. 

In CLAT PG 2023, the candidate who has topped has secured 99.99, AIR 2 candidate has got 99.98 and AIR 3 candidate has secured 99.97 percentile marks.

The overall attendance percentage for CLAT 2023 was approximately 94.87%. Out of the candidates who appeared for CLAT 2023, 56% were Females, 44% were Males, and 2 candidates were Transgender.

In CLAT 2023 exam, 2 students secure All India Rank 1 with 116.75 marks. The two CLAT toppers secured 100 percentile and Rank 1 are from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, respectively. Abhinav Somani is one of the toppers of CLAT 2023 exam.

The CLAT 2023 cut-off is likely to go slightly high as the exam was easy-moderate. Candidates who secure 105+ marks will have a chance to secure admission to NLSIU Bengaluru. Whereas, for the top 5 NLUs, CLAT cut off will be 98-100 marks. A good attempt will be around 115+ questions. In terms of rank, the CLAT cut-off will remain largely unchanged. Candidates seeking admission through CLAT 2023 can consider the list of top NLUs according to NIRF given below:

 CLAT topper has secured 116.75 marks, whereas, CLAT LLM topper secured 95.25 marks. The two CLAT toppers who secured 100 percentile and Rank 1 are from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, respectively. Abhinav Somani topped CLAT 2023 exam with AIR 1, Gnanankit got AIR 1 under SC category, Sahil Gupta secured AIR 2, Shubham Thakare secured AIR 3, Navya Nair secured AIR 6, and Piyush Gupta secured AIR 8.

In case two or more candidates get the same score in CLAT 2023, they will be assigned a rank in the CLAT 2023 merit list using the tie-breaker rule prescribed by the consortium.

• Candidates scoring higher marks in legal aptitude will get a higher rank

• If the tie persists, the senior candidate will get a higher rank

• Finally, if the tie is still unresolved, a computerised draw of lots will be used

The Consortium of NLUs will share the counselling invitation with the shortlisted candidates through their registered email ID and mobile number. Alternatively, candidates can check their status by logging into the online CLAT 2023 portal - consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The candidates five times the total number of seats available in each category will be included in the invite list. Around 15,000 candidates can be invited for CLAT UG counselling and around 3,500 candidates for CLAT LLM counselling.

A total of 23 national law universities are participating in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The NLUs will offer over 3361 seats in undergraduate law programmes and around 1298 seats in LLM programme.

The CLAT counselling fee is Rs. 30,000 for general category candidates and Rs. 20,000 for SC and ST candidates.

Once the CLAT result is announced, shortlisted candidates will be invited to register for the CLAT counselling online, from the login portal at - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The counselling of CLAT 2023 will be conducted in three rounds, in online mode.

With the withdrawal of one question in CLAT UG, the overall marks and rank will be calculated on the basis of 149 questions.

CLAT UG answer key - One question from the quantitative technique has been withdrawn. 

CLAT PG answer key - Answers to 4 questions have been revised.

The consortium has released the final answer key of CLAT 2023 on December 22, 2022. The overall result will be prepared on the basis of final answer key.

Last year, the consortium announced the CLAT result on the next day of the release of the final answer key. Considering this, candidates may expect the CLAT result today, by evening.

Candidates will need CLAT login ID details - registration number/mobile number and password to download CLAT result 2023.
