Ahead of the CLAT 2026 law-entrance exam, the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) Hyderabad has asked candidates to update their reservation category. Candidates under the Scheduled Caste (SC) category are required to update their reservation details by December 1 for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law admissions.

The SC of Telangana category has been subdivided into 3 sub-groups as SC-TL Group I, 2 and 3. All candidates appearing for the CLAT 2026 are advised to view the Telangana State Rationalisation of Reservations of SC Act document available on the official website for clarification.
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) conducts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2026) entrance exam for admissions to various UG and PG law courses. CLAT 2026 is scheduled on December 7, in a single shift from 2 pm to 4 pm. Candidates belonging to the PwD category will be given an additional 40 minutes to complete the exam.
