Along with the UG or PG admit card of the CLAT 2026 exam, candidates must carry an original government-issued photo ID proof like an Aadhar card, driving licence, or voter card.

For the CLAT exam, candidates must reach the exam centre before 1 pm and be in their seats by 1:30 pm for the exam to begin at 2 pm.

Candidates can download their CLAT PG admit card 2026 by visiting consortiumofnlus.ac.in, logging in with their valid registered mobile number and password.

The Consortium of NLUs will not send the CLAT 2026 admit card through the post. Candidates who have applied for the exam can download their hall tickets directly from the official portal.

Candidates appearing for CLAT 2026 should be aware of the marking scheme. The exam will have 120 questions, each carrying one mark. One mark will be awarded for every correct response, no marks will be assigned to unattempted questions, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

The CLAT 2026 exam will be held on December 7, 2025. Candidates going to appear for the UG, PG law entrance exam 2026 should carry their admit card, a valid ID (such as Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, or passport), a self-health declaration, a blue or black ballpoint pen, and a transparent water bottle to the designated exam centre.

Indian Nationals and NRIs are eligible to participate in CLAT 2026 for admission to 24 NLUs offering 5-year LLB and LLM programmes. Foreign nationals do not need to appear for the entrance exam. After submission, no changes can be made to the programme or category, and the application fee is non-refundable.

Candidates who forget their CLAT 2026 login password can reset it using the “Forgot Password” option on the official website. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, allowing candidates to create a new password and access their admit card.

To be eligible for CLAT 2026 undergraduate courses, candidates should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. Final-year students can also apply, provided they complete their qualifying exam before the admission process.

The CLAT 2026 admit card has not been released. The admit card release date is expected to be announced soon by the Consortium of National Law Universities.
