The Directorate of Education (DoE) will open the online applications for CM Shri Schools Admissions 2026, Classes 6, 9 and 11, for the 2026-27 academic session today. Parents and students can apply for the CM Shri School entrance exam till March 12.

According to the official CM Shri School notice, only residents of Delhi who studied in a recognised school in the national capital during the 2025-26 session are eligible to apply.

Additionally, 50% of the seats are reserved for students who have passed Class 5, 8 and 10 from government schools in Delhi, and the remaining seats are open to other eligible students who meet the residency and schooling criteria.

The CM Shri Entrance Exam 2026 admit card will be issued separately.

Entrance tests for Classes 6 and 9 are scheduled to be held by the last week of March, while the examination for Class 11 will be conducted in May. The department aims to complete the CM Shri School admission process 2026 for Classes 6 and 9 by April 30.

CM Shri School Entrance Exam Pattern 2026

The CM Shri school entrance exam 2026 will be objective and OMR-based. The department will provide Class-wise syllabus details and a sample OMR sheet on its official website to help applicants familiarise themselves with the format.

The Class 6 question paper will be bilingual, while papers for Classes 9 and 11 will be in English. There is no negative marking for the Class 6 exam, but it will apply to the tests for Classes 9 and 11. The maximum marks for the Class 6 examination are 300, while the tests for Classes 9 and 11 will carry 400 marks each. A total of 75 questions will be asked in the Class 6 exam, while Classes 6 and 11 will have 100 questions.
