CMA June 2020 last date to apply extended, exam already postponed

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India has extended the last date to apply for CMA June 2020 examinations in wake of the increasing spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown situations in India. Interested candidates can now fill exam forms of CMA June 2020 session till May 2020.
ICMAI has released an official notification regarding the extending of the deadline to fill exam forms. The notification says “ Due to outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and subsequent lockdown situation thereof in the country, it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the closing date for submission of online Examination Application Form for June, 2020 Examinations of the Institute now scheduled to be held from July 20, 2020 onwards hereby stands further extended up to May 20, 2020 without late fee.”

ICMAI had already announced that it is postponing its CMA June 2020 exams to a later date due to COVID-19. The institute has not released the revised schedule of the exams but has stated that the exams will now commence from July 20, 2020. Earlier, the authorities had extended the last date to fill CMA exam forms till April 20.
