CMAT Exam 2022 Today: Tips, While You Enter To The exam centre

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CMAT entrance exam on April 9, 2022 from 3 pm to 6 pm. With all the CMAT preparation going on, candidates must be well aware of what things to carry to the CMAT test centre and what to not. Appearing candidates will not be allowed to enter without the CMAT 2022 admit card and valid ID proof.

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2022) is a three hours computer-based exam that will be conducted in 124 cities across India. With the date nearing, getting nervous is quite common. As the pandemic continues, COVID-19 related measures will have to be followed by candidates at each CMAT 2022 exam centre, which will include physical distancing, sanitization and wearing of masks, etc. Check out the list of important documents to be carried for the CMAT exam and major exam day guidelines.

CMAT 2022 Exam day checklist: Things to carry to the test centre

Students appearing for CMAT 2022 should carefully read exam day guidelines a day or two before the D-day. Now that NTA will conduct the exam amidst covid, below are some important things that candidates must carry along with them.

• CMAT Admit card 2022: The most important document to bring along to the CMAT exam venue. Without a CMAT hall ticket, no candidates will be allowed to take the test

• Identity card: Only upon showing a valid government identity proof, candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall. So, it is a must to carry thing to the exam center. Acceptable photo identification documents are:

  • PAN card

  • Driving License

  • Voter ID

  • Passport

  • Aadhaar card with photograph

  • E- Aadhaar

  • Ration CardBank Passbook with Photograph

• Sanitiser: Though such arrangements would be available, it is good to keep a good quality sanitiser.

• Intimation slip: in case of a situation wherein a candidate might need to show that this is their allotted CMAT 2022 exam center, taking the intimation slip would be an added advantage.

• Passport size photograph: Keep one/ two of your latest color passport size photographs. You may need it to provide at the time of entry into the exam hall and paste it on the CMAT admit card 2022.

• Water bottle: Keeping a water bottle if allowed to take it is a good idea

• Mask: Make sure to wear a mask as without it you might not be allowed to take the CMAT exam because of the current situation of pandemic

• Pen/ pencil: It is one of the essential things to carry to the CMAT exam centre. You will need it when you will have to do the rough work.

Items prohibited inside the CMAT test centre 2022

As CMAT is designed to facilitate institutions to select the right candidate for PGDM and MBA programs offered by them, it is important to ensure the exam is held fairly. Here is a checklist of things candidates are not allowed to take in the exam hall.

• Electronic gadgets/devices: Don’t take any electronic devices or gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, earphones, smartwatches, etc. There is no facility to keep them. Candidates have to keep them at their own risk.

• Books: Candidates cannot take any book or paper with them. Only pen or pencil are allowed.

• Eating stuff: One cannot eat anything inside the exam hall. So eat some light things before the exam so you don’t get hungry during the exam.

Candidates should carefully read the exam guidelines given on their CMAT hall ticket/ admit card before going for the exam.

About CMAT 2022

NTA will conduct CMAT to evaluate the candidates’ ability in Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness for admission to the management courses in the academic session 2022-23. Those aspiring for admission to MBA courses must apply separately to the desired CMAT 2022 participating institutions with the CMAT score 2022. Every college issues its respective CMAT cut-off scores. Candidates who meet the cutoff will get admission to that particular college.
