The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026 registration tomorrow, November 24. The last date for CMAT 2026 application fee payment is November 25. NTA will open the application form correction window from November 26 to 28.

Candidates can apply for CMAT registration 2026 on the official website, cmat.nta.nic.in, or make changes in the application form, if required.

Male candidates in the general category have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,500, while female candidates need to pay Rs 1,250. Applicants from the Gen-EWS, SC, ST, PwD, and third-gender categories are required to pay Rs 1,250 as registration fees.

NTA conducts the CMAT 2026 national-level business aptitude test for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses. Last year, 74,012 candidates registered for the exam, and 63,145 of them appeared, resulting in an overall attendance rate of 85.32%.

CMAT exam pattern 2026

The CMAT 2026 exam will assess candidates in quantitative techniques and data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship. The paper will include 100 questions carrying a total of 800 marks.

Candidates will be given 180 minutes to complete the exam. NTA will conduct the CMAT 2026 in two shifts, from 9 am to 12 noon and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm.

According to the CMAT 2026 marking scheme, candidates will receive four marks for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for questions left unanswered.
