Application process for admission to Chennai Mathematical Institute 2021 has started on the official website and will be ongoing until May 31.

NEW DELHI: Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) will conduct the entrance exams for admission to academic programmes for the year 2021-2022 on June 27, 2021. Candidates can fill up CMI application form 2021 until May 31. The academic session 2021-22 will commence on August 23.
Chennai Mathematical Institute will be offering admission to courses like BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computer Science; BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics and Physics; MSc in Mathematics; MSc in Computer Science; and MSc in Data Science, among others.
It should be noted that there will be a common entrance examination for both the BSc (Hons.) programmes, so candidates need not select a course at the time of applying. They will be able to make that choice post-admission.
Candidates who wish to take the CMI entrance will be able to get the application forms both online — at cmi.ac.in — and in-person and through the post.
Before prospective candidates sit down to fill out their application form, they should look over the following eligibility criteria:

BSc (Hons.) Mathematics and Computer Science: Class 12 or equivalent.

BSc (Hons.) Mathematics and Physics: Class 12 or equivalent.

MSc in Mathematics: Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech or others) with a strong background in mathematics.

MSc in Computer Science: Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech or others) with a strong background in computer science.

MSc in Data Science: Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech or others) with a background in mathematics/ statistics/ computer science.

PhD in Mathematics: BE/ BTech/ BSc (Math)/ MSc (mathematics).

PhD in Computer Science: BE/ BTech/ MSc (CS)/ MCA.

PhD in Physics: MSc (physics).
