COMEDK UGET 2024 registration begins today at comedk.org; apply by April 5

NEW DELHI: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will begin the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET 2024) registration today, February 1. Interested and eligible students will be able to apply for COMEDK UGET 2024 through the official website, comedk.org. The last date to apply was April 5.

The application fee for candidates belonging to all categories is Rs 1,800 for UGET and Rs 2,950 for COMEDK and Unigauge.

COMEDK UGET 2024: Eligibility criteria

• Students who have passed the second PUC or Class 12 higher secondary or equivalent examination recognized by state or central government; the last two years of study shall comprise of physics, chemistry and mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
• The general merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka state) in physics, chemistry and mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and mathematics are compulsory subjects along with chemistry or biotechnology or biology or computer science or electronics as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE or VTU will be adopted.
• Diploma candidates are not eligible as there are no lateral entry admissions.

Candidates will be required to upload the following documents while applying for the exam:

• Photograph of candidate
• Signature of candidate
• Signature of parent
• Unique ID proof of candidate
• SSLC mark sheet of candidate
