COMEDK UGET 2025 postponed in 12 exam cities amid India-Pakistan tensions

NEW DELHI: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has postponed the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGET) 2025 in 12 examination cities amid escalating military tensions between India and Pakistan. COMEDK further informed that the exam will be held as scheduled, on May 10, at all other centres.

“In line with the directives issued by the Government of India as part of 'Operation Sindoor', the above cities have been directed to close down educational institutions and establishments. We wish to inform all students who have been allotted the above centres for the COMEDK UGET 2025/Uni-GAUGE E 2025 exam which is scheduled to be held on 10th May 2025, not to be apprehensive or worried,” the consortium said in an official notice.

“The exam is deemed postponed to an alternate date for the above centres only; a new date will be intimated on the website www.comedk.org. Candidates are directed to check the website regularly for further details,” it added.
