Changes in the Common Admission Process for MBA at the IITs

NEW DELHI- The MBA Common Admissions Committee 2020 announced recently that in wake of the lockdown that has been caused all over the country due to COVID 19, a change in the selection process for the MBA programme that is offered at the participating institutes has been announced. The decision was taken after they received the directives from the MHRD. According to the new selection process, the committee has decided to cancel the WAT/PI rounds for admission to the MBA program of participating IITs under Common Admission process.

Selection Criteria
As per the latest information released by the authorities students are requested to note the following details:

WAT/PI rounds which were scheduled at Roorkee, Mumbai and Kolkata have been canceled.

Selection rounds which were conducted at New Delhi and Chennai have been annulled.

For the academic year 2020, participating IITs under Common Admission Process will consider the CAT score, academic performance, experience for final admission to MBA programme of IITs.

The list of shortlisted candidates will be declared by the participating IITs individually on their website

The final result will be announced on May 29, 2020
About CAP
Candidates applying for the MBA program to the IITs under CAP had to fill the application form in online mode. One of the primary parameters that is taken into account while shortlisting the candidates is the CAT score. The application process is the same for all the institutes and the final result will be announced by the respective institutes.
