Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19): AIIMS, Delhi postpones PG July 2020 session, BSc & MSc nursing exams

NEW DELHI: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has postponed AIIMS PG July as well MSc/BSc nursing examination due to the dangerous spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The authority has released an official notice on postponement of all exams separately on the official website aiimsexams.org. As per the official notice, the revised dates for AIIMS PG, BSc & MSc nursing will be declared in the due course of time. The authorities, however, advised the aspirants to keep tracking the official websites for further notification.

Postponement of AIIMS PG 2020
On March 27, 2020, the authority released an official notice stating that considering the ongoing situation, the decision to postpone the exam for AIIMS PG 2020 has been taken. However, the new date has not yet been declared. AIIMS PG 2020 July session was scheduled to be conducted on May 3. A screenshot of the notice has been provided below.

Postponement of AIIMS MSc & BSc Nursing 2020
The authority on March 26, 2020 with an official notice declared the postponement of the AIIMS Nursing 2020 examination. In order to take preventive majors, the decision has been made. A screenshot of the official notice of AIIMS MSc/BSc nursing 2020 has been provided below.

Will AIIMS Admit Card be delayed?
After the postponement of the examinations, there are chances that admit cards for AIIMS PG, MSc and BSc will be delayed. Due to the covid-19 outbreak, many of the entrance examinations have been postponed/cancelled. Therefore, the chances of delay in the release of the AIIMS PG admit card are higher. However, nothing can be confirmed without the official words by the authority. The current official dates for all the examinations are mentioned below.

AIIMS PG 2020 admit card dates

AIIMS, New Delhi is acknowledged as an Institute of National Importance (INI). AIIMS PG 2020 is being conducted for admission to 643 Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Chirurgiae (MCh) seats across eight AIIMS institutes. While through AIIMS BSc and MSc admissions to 621 Bachelors and 124 Masters seats across institutes.
