COVID 19 Impact: Know the Status of IIM Admissions 2020?

New Delhi: Everyone is aware that the Coronavirus outbreak has delayed admissions for the academic year 2020 in IIMs as well. But even due to the tough and challenging time, Some of the Indian Institutes of Management have outgrown and successfully conducted the admission process. Some of the institutes have now begun to announce the final result of PGP/MBA admissions 2020.

The current scenario for most IIMs seems that the classes for MBA batch 2020 are likely to be deferred by a few weeks. IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta completed the WAT-PI rounds in March using online modes. While IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Amritsar conducted the same through video calls in April. Similarly, IIM Nagpur, IIM Udaipur, IIM Rohtak and IIM Visakhapatnam also plan to announce GD-PI results by May 15.

Status of Indian Institutes of Management Admission 2020

IIM Ahmedabad is the first IIM to declare the final list of selected candidates. After IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore also announced the final result of MBA admissions for the academic year 2020. Rest of the IIMs are likely to release the admission status soon. Refer to the table below for admission status of IIMs as per the latest update.

IIM Admission Status For 2020:

IIM Ranchi for 2020 is conducting the Common Admission Process (CAP) for admissions. IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy, IIM Udaipur are participating IIMs in CAP. WAT-PI rounds for these institutes have been conducted. IIM Ranchi will soon announce the final results and so will other CAP participants.
