COVID 19- MPSC 2021 exam postponed
The Maharashtra Public Service Commission has postponed the MPSC exam that was scheduled to be held on April 11 due to a spike in the COVID 19 cases.

NEW DELHI : Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackrey in a video conference with top officials and ministers took the decision to postpone the Maharashtra Secondary Service Non-Gazetted Group B Joint Pre-exam due to the rise in the total number of COVID-19 cases.
The Maharashtra Public Service Commission was supposed to conduct the MPSC 2021 exam on April 11. According to a report by Lokmat, the meeting in which the decision was taken to postpone the MPSC 2021 exam was attended by deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, revenue minister Balasaheb Thorat and officials of MPSC.

COVID-19 restrictions and impact on MPSC 2021 exam
Maharashtra is witnessing a continuous rise in the COVID-19 cases, due to which the state government had imposed certain restrictions with regard to the movement of people and had also laid down certain standard operating procedures. Also, the state government has announced that the lockdown will be imposed completely over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
Last month the students protested over the state government’s decision to postpone the MPSC 2021 exam. However, this time it was students who were demanding the postponement of the MPSC 2021 exam owing to the rise in the total number of coronavirus cases.
